About Me

Hi, my name is Tomás. I grew up in Argentina and I have been living in Berlin for 18 months and Accra for 6 months. I studied Economics in Argentina and I have been also working as a journalist for 5 years. I love to met you people, travel as much as possible. Right now I´m living in Buenos Aires.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to find those hidden places in the cities, as well as talking to their citizens, drink a coffee, a beer, a cup of wine.. I love to see how their local population live, and walk a lot around the cities, also to be in touch with people from different countries and always meet new people

Interests

I can spend 10 hours talking about politics and economics. I love diving, to play soccer, play guitar and read literature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like indie and rock music, such as Devendra Bahnart, Pearl Jam, Vetiver, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Oasis, Nick Drake, Caetano Veloso, Nacho Vegas.
I guess my favorite books are "el corazon helado (almudena grandes)", "el hombre que amaba a los perros (padura)", "la fiesta del chivo (vargas llosa)"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was a huge decision to leave everything in Argentina, job, family, and to go on studying in a different continent and starting to have a completely different life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Argentinian foods (not only meet), help with the daily duties, teach Spanish, German (but is not my mother tongue), I can talk and try to have nice conversations. And also I can share an Argentinian wine :)
