About Me
Hey there! I'm a Software Engineer from Argentina living in Vienna. I've moved on January 2019 as an exchange student, but truly looking forward for a challenge and the thrill of living alone in a foreign country.
I love going out for a hike or biking day and enjoy everything that nature has to offer. I've picked up the habit of doing meditation and yoga everyday. Still, nothing beats sharing a couple of drinks with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I've moved to Vienna I've met wonderful people from all over the world. I've had meaningful encounters and valuable cultural exchanges. This experience has opened my mind towards believing that the true value in traveling lies in meeting new people and learning from them.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
Used to listen a lot of hard rock and metal when I was younger but nowadays I listen to anything ranging from rock, pop, jazz, electro, reggae and recently picked up some argentine hip-hop as well. What stays constant is that I am *always* listening to music; best way to relax and improve the mood of any day. By far the best perk of living alone is being able to sing all day without injuring anyone.
MOVIES
Coco, The Imitation Game, Café Society and The Secret in Their Eyes (the original argentine one) are my favorite movies. I like Disney/Pixar and drama movies in general along with real life biography movies.
BOOKS
'Emotional Intelligence' from Daniel Goleman along with 'The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules Our Lives' and 'Subliminal: How Your Unconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior' from Leonard Mlodinow are by far my favorite books. They made me comprehend how the human brain, perspectives and emotions work. If I could choose only one, it would be Subliminal without a doubt.
When it comes to fantasy books, I am a die hard fan of The Witcher saga, having read each and every book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a college tutor for 6 months and rediscover my passion for teaching. The fulfillment felt by the students' sense of achievement is unique.
Go one week on mission to Cafayate, Argentina with my high school when I was 16. Sharing one week with people who have lived in a whole different cultural context than mine, even though it was in my own country, changed my perspectives upside down.
Moving to a foreign country completely different than mine in a completely different continent! Once again, being in touch with peers who have lived life with whole different cultural lenses than mine is a wonderful experience. Even the apparently small conversations with people you just met can yield deep bonds.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm interested in learning about foreign cultures. I love relating with people who speak with passion about their country, customs, culture, people and home food as well! I can in turn share the same regarding Argentina and South America. Be it during a walk, sharing some drinks, chilling in a park, hiking, biking or even after a yoga session, what I value the most is a genuine conversation.
On the languages side, I'd be glad to speak Spanish with anyone who would like improve it or just feels like talking it. Keep in mind the argentine accent! From my side, I’d love to practice my German or Italian.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share anything about my culture and my country as well as what it means for me to be living abroad. I offer Spanish and software related conversations on demand as well. Finally, while I cannot cook any typical argentine dish I can get some typical argentine Dulce de Leche ;)
