About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the fascinating intricacies of the universe, within and around us all.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 34 year old native New Mexican Chicano, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I went to college in Portland, Oregon and lived there for 7 years. I've done social justice organizing ever since I graduated from college. The motivation for my work is that I believe that to live in peace, love and justice are the true nature of humanity. I love to ride my bike, play soccer, practice yoga, read and get drinks with my friends and discuss the mysteries of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all one. The only constant is change. Live in the moment. AND, the more we know, the less we understand...

oh, and be kind, for to love is our purpose here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to Couchsurfing. I look forward to getting more involved. My former housemates and friends have couchsurfed several times and we hosted several couchsurfers at our house. I think it's a brilliant idea and can't wait to meet more people around the world by hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted people 8 times at my previous house and I really enjoyed it so I want to get more involved.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately, I've been enjoying:

Mumford & Sons, Avett Brothers, and other family name type bands.

Karate Kid, Rad and other 80's cheesy coming of age sports type movies.

A New Earth, All about love, and other spiritual type books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best way to blow on a fire is the put your thumbs together to form a slit and blow through them. Try it, it works!
