Hola, soy Tomáš, de la República Checa. He dejado mi trabajado en Recursos Humanos en Praga para salir por una aventura mochilera de 6 meses en América del Sur con mi novia española Bea. Hi ! I am Tomas from Czech Republic.
Currently I have left my work in HR in Prague to go for 6 months backpacking adventure in South America with my Spanish girlfriend Bea. We were dreaming for some time about trekking in the Andes, discovering local culture and learn about differencies in Spanish in different countries until the point that we have finally found courage to realise that.
We want to see how the life is in different parts of South America to see the similarities and differencies with our life in Europe as well as disconnect from the internet and our hectic lifes for a moment and take the opportunity to think about them.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really like traveling and using foreign languages but I love my country in the same time and I'm always happy to have opportunity to show the best of it to others. From my point of view the best thing on couchsurfing is the possibly of getting known the local people and see how they really live and what they like about their own country. It is great way of making friends all around the world and to see what we have different and what in common and to make your travel happen totally different than you expected in the the way how other couchsurfers can inspire your way and life.

When living in Prague I enjoyed our community of outdoor sports lovers to do
some cycling, orientation run, climbing, kayak or cross country skiing when possible. From time to time I try some survival races. That's because I am always the happiest in the nature especially in the mountains and I love to test my strengths and to discover what is connected to my other passion traveling and meeting interesting people from other cultures.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In August 2016 I cycled more than 2000 km from Czech republic to the borders of Spain with my girlfriend to collect money to fight leukemia where we were cycling in the beautiful nature all day long and sleeping under the stars but also collecting money to fight Leukemia. During the way we have used several times Warmshowers which is the similar community as Couchsurfing but just for cyclist and where we have met many wonderful people sharing the same values and big fans of traveling.

I can offer them insight to Czech culture, go with them for a beer or five, introduce them to my friends, guide them around and help them to plan their trip better. But the most important is tat we can share the good moments and help each other to discover the world.
