My name is Tom, and I am a very easy going, laid back kind of guy. I'm photographer living in Los Angeles, California

I do both surfing and hosting. CS is awesome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did surfing in the Alsace region of France. I had an amazing experience, and an incredible host. It was my first CS experience, and it made me want to host and be active in my CS community.

I am an aspiring photographer, traveler, world changer. There's nothing better then sitting in a park, enjoying the sunshine, and getting lost in a great book. I love to have fun in whatever it is that I am doing, whether it be just hanging out with friends, relaxing by myself, or going out on the town for a night of drinks and dancing.

Some other hobbies I have include biking, camping, rock climbing, frisbee golf, music festivals.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent ten months living in Elverum, Norway, at an alternative school called Folkhøgskule. While I was there I studied the Norwegian language and Photography as my main subjects, and then other sorts of awesome crafts and classes such as, african drumming, glass fusing, outdoor life styles(becoming one with wilderness), futbol, and theatre. I was living at the school with about 140 other people who were around my age, mostly of which were of Norwegian decent. These 140 people became one unit, for the most part, for the entire school year; we ate together, played together, drank together, and even slept together. While I was at the school I was fortunate enough to be able to travel all over the country of Norway, and throughout Europe, creating memories and friendships that will last for a life time. It's impossible for me to pick just one memory from that year, for I have far too many to pick a "winner." One of my favorite trips was my Norwegian class trip to Copenhagen. We spent three days causing a ruckus in capitol of Denmark, seeing things such as the year round carnival Tivoli, the free nation inside of Copenhagen, Kristiania, and of course the extremely lenient drinking laws of Denmark. The other trip that stands out from the rest was my trip to Barcelona. I spent ten days in Barcelona with my Photography class. We did site seeing during the day, and then were free to do as we please for the remainder of the day. It was perfect weather, 75 and sunny, all week so most of my time was spent at the beach swimming, relaxing, and sipping on the local cerveza. I also went to see a Barcelona futbol match while I was staying in the city; the game was an unforgettable experience, to say the least. And who could forget La Rambla? The main strip of Barcelona filled with street vendors, musicians, performers, and of course millions of people. Those are just two of my amazing memories from that year, which was by far the best year of my life.
