ABOUT US

We are Gabi and Tom. We met in Argentina, spent a while in New York, and we are currently in Sydney where we are both studying - Tom is dong a Ph.D in Psychopharmacology and Gabi is doing a Masters in Development Studies. We love travelling and we love the outdoors. We also really love food and wine. We also love dogs, going out to see music, and making new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

So stop trying to come up with one and just take things as they are.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We care about sustainability and the planet we live on; we believe that we all have a part to play and the first step is to be accountable. We try to make sure that our pleasure isn't at someone else's expense, and we take responsibility for the decisions that we make.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have just had one experience in New Zealand so far. We now have a new place with some space so we are happy to start hosting people, and we hope to meet some like-minded folks around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything from Charlie Parker to Chopin, Radiohead to Ensalved, and Rhythm and Sound to Massive Attack.
I listen to a lot of electronic music, and I produce techno. But I grew up playing jazz and classical, which I still love and listen to a lot of today.

Gabs is definitely into her hip hop. A lil old school snoop dogg and some 50 cent and she'll get a bit gangta on you.

Books.... ok top 3 would be 1) Crime and Punishment, 2) A Fine Balance, 3) Soul Mountain... not necessarily in that order.
