After cycling bits and pieces of Australia’s east coast I’m currently cycling across New Zealand.
I've spent 18 months working in remote areas of Australia and now it's time to see the World from a bike saddle. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have both surfed and hosted people at various stages of my life. I believe that meeting a local makes the whole experience a lot better! :) Also, who wouldn't like having friends all around the World? I enjoy giving back as a host when I'm not on the move.

Interests

I enjoy speaking foreign languages, even though while being in AU my French, Hungarian and Spanish have declined significantly... :) I like nature, hiking, camping, traveling in an unordinary way, such as hitchhiking, visiting places off the beaten path.

Books: Roadside Picnic, 451 Fahrenheit, 1984
I enjoy watching movies from around the World as they serve as a window into the culture/language/customs. My favourite movie would be Trainspotting.
Music: Enjoy a variety of music in English/Spanish/Russian, same as movies, listening to music in a different language helps me connect with the culture of the author and look at the World through their eyes.
