About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Understanding how the world and people work.
ABOUT ME
My name is Tomas, 24 years old and study to become a teacher in business economics and English. I am the President of GISA, an event making organization that focuses on international students.
I love travelling and meeting new people and that's the reason I registered to this site. I am also a huge language nut.
PHILOSOPHY
Never say no to an opportunity you haven't experienced.
Take care of people you have met.
It's easy to make people happy, all you have to do is care and be open.
Everyone should strive to make an open world. There are many resources out there to do this, like Facebook.com and Couchsurfing.org, but it is the people that have to make an effort for all of this to work.
The right people at the right time can change the world for the better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything with Stephen King and Denis Lehane. I also read books on social groups (John Putnam: Bowling Alone) and its opposite, books about loneliness (John Cacioppo: Loneliness) all to understand how to make a good change.
I of course enjoy Jon Krakauer's Into the Wild.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just said "what the hell" and went to the US for three months to explore if an opportunity was good or not.
Realized that the world is not about how big we make it, but how well connected we stay with the people we care about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you a phrase or two in Swedish if you'd like =)
I know a thing or two about cooking, and I can share my thoughts. I also make pretty decent smoothies.
