I used to live in Shanghai and Moscow, but now I am back to Poland, Poznan.

I am working in an exhibition industry and frequently travelling around world`s biggest expo shows. In a free time... travelling on my own.

There are two very special countries in my life: I love China and I have spent almost 10 years to learn Chinese on a fluent level. The second one is Russia - I can`t get enough of staying there and travelling around. I am not into the western part of the world, but I can spend hours and days to talk and listen about the East.

I am easy going and not expecting much in advance. Rly. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First - generally I am here not to find free accomodation. Couchsurfing seems to be an interesting way of meeting amazing people from the places we are planning to visit. I am also very happy to help you or meet you in Poland, where I live.

As for now (the end of 2017) - my plan is to travel around the northern part of Russia and I am simply looking for friends there!;)

Oh yeah - and I like interesting people which means: If I have sent you a message - I have read the desrcription you have written about yourself and I want to contact YOU. ;) No random clicks.

Interests

I am a positive person. I like talking, laughing, drinking wine and walking the new places. I watch dozens of movies a month, most of them Russian ones.

I like a kind of "sad beauty" and emptiness, being alone - this is what appeals me in Russia. But on the other hand I often look for people, crowds, speed of life - this is what I am looking for in China.

I like active sport - long distance running and cycling.

Wanderer - travelling alone or as a tour guide.

Queen, Brian May, Leonard Cohen, Alan Walker, Leningrad, Bi2, Amy Macdonald, Asian ethno music... and many modern Youtube stuff ;).

I love Russian cinema and I was specially impressed by: Левиафан (и все другие фильмы Звягинцева), Время первых, Стиляги, Как меня зовут, Коллектор, Москва слезам не верит.....

Books? I read a lot about history and travelling in Russia and post-Soviet countries. I like Stephen King, Dostoevsky, Houellebecq, Stanislaw Lem, Zygmunt Bauman, Svetlana Alexievich.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learnt Chinese, visited Tibet as a tour guide, completely filled my passport in two years, worked in India... There was a couple of quite amazing things in my life. Luckily ;).

If you want to practice language - I can talk with you in Polish, English, Russian or Chinese :). I can teach you the ways of cheap travelling around Europe and world as well ;).

Optimism and sense of humour! I have some cool stories as well. But I am bad in telling traditional jokes.
