ABOUT ME

I am all about living life, and making others smile. My relationships with family and friends are very important to me, and I try to spend time with my parents, friends and three sisters as often as possible. I have great pride for where I live, the Pacific Northwest. Seattle is definately an eccentric city, with many different kinds of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Pride chokes the heart, and a broken spirit dries up the bones, but Laughter is the best medicine and a good sense of humor will definately take you far.

I try not to take life nor myself too seriously and know how to laugh at myself and be thankful and satisfied with what I have been blessed with in my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is truly an amazing network, and in my upcoming trip to Europe, I hope to meet some really fun Surfers along the way. From what I have heard, good Couchsurfing experiences can make a trip truly unforgettable. After my trip, I would love to host travelers and give back to this great community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined the CS network. I was inspired to join by my good friend Nick, in fact we will be Surfing all through Europe together this summer! He has hosted and surfed with many CSers before, and I'm sure it will be a fantastic trip!

Interests

Some of my favorite things to do include singing, dancing, traveling, cooking and creating.

Here in Seattle, I do a bunch of different dances, including Swing, Lindy Hop, Blues, Jazz and Salsa. I have been a dancer since I was young, and would love to be a dancer for my whole life.

I also love theater and singing. I have performed in Musical Theatre productions since I was young, and hope to be a professional theatre performer soon. Standing on the stage singing in character is a feeling like non other. Some of my favorite theatre shows include Spring Awakening, Avenue Q, Cats and Pal Joey.

Food and travel: They're the best! I cook all the time when I am at home (see my pictures). Cooking healthy food and eating with friends is really great. I want to try exotic foods like Truffes from France, and Roasted Lamb in Morocco. By staying fit and active, I love to try lots of good food, and dark chocolate too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Enchanted, WALL-E, The Holiday, Love Actually

I'd say my music taste is as ecclectic as it gets... Really, music is music, and I appreciate most any kind. my favorite styles include Blues, Reggae, Jazz, Rock, gospel, Soul and hiphop. Listing artists I enjoy would indeed take too long! :P
current favorite books: I love travel books by Rick Steves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have performed in over 20 theatre productions! I was also the main director for a theatre production recently.
