My name is Tom, I'm 22 and I am a student (currently taking time off university). I was born in Cardiff, Wales, and moved to Melbourne at the age of seven. Australia remained my home for ten years until I migrated to England to study music. After completing my studies I relocated to a chateau in rural France to work as as chef. One year later I was studying Liberal Arts in the Netherlands. Currently I am taking a gap year and meandering about Europe.

Interests

I'm a musician, a guitarist who dabbles with a few other instruments. I enjoy travelling, writing, often writing about my travels, and, believe it or not, pottery. One of my biggest passions is cooking; I'm excited by the opportunity to provide my hosts with (hopefully) delicious food.

My favourite books are Khaled Houssini's three novels and the Book Thief by Mark Zuzak.

My favourite films are In Bruges, The Pianist, Grand Budapest Hotel, and Schindler's List.

My favourite music ranges from Johann Sebastian Bach to Blink 182. My favourite radio station is the Parisian FIP.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always happy to teach you the guitar. I would also enjoy teaching some Welsh or English. Learning French is a current goal of mine so I'm eager for any opportunity that will bring me closer to being a fluent French speaker. If I can pick up a few words in other languages along the way that would also be great!
