I moved to the Czech Republic in 2015 and am keen to explore the country and new ideas with new people. I live in Ceske Budejovice and am happy to host.

I love to travel and write (www.tomczaban.com). I'm interested in anything that helps me to grow as a person and I've been fortunate enough to meet people from all over the world who have helped me to do that.

I'm currently learning Czech and before that I was learning Chinese - I still haven't decided which is more difficult...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member since 2013, but only recently started to host because before this I was living in China and there wasn't much call for it there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some amazing couchsurfers in Hong Kong, and more recently I've found hosting here in the Czech Republic to be an interesting experience. Hosting travellers makes me feel like I'm travelling...without having to carry a massive backpack around.
