About Me

ABOUT ME

Ever since I can remember I've been working on the farm, I love almost everything about it, the long days, fresh air, beautiful countryside, even the hard work appeals to me. The only aspect which puts me off a bit is how permanent it is. These doubts along with some complications with our farm showed me on to a path of taking a music degree for 3 years and even though I loved every minute of it, I knew that my heart and soul was on the farm. However, before I settle down with my cows I NEED to see as much of the world as possible.

As well as cows my other great love is music and have strong interest in a lot of popular music spanning from Metal, Dance and have a list of guilty pleasures longer than Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriends. As well as currently being in a psychedelic pop rock band I also do a fair amount of DJing around the UK, favouring the music genre Electro Swing.

I love summer, even though as a ginger the sun hates me, everything about it makes me happy. Music Festivals are probably my happiest destination to be in.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not very good at planning for the future, I tend to just go for the option which will make me happier or make for the best story, probably have to change this eventually but having far too much fun right now. I feel as long as I continue to try and be as good and honest as I can to the people around me then everything will turn out just fine....

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not much of a film snob, I'm pretty easily pleased. Favourite films would most likely include; It's all gone Pete Tong, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Lego Movie, Frozen(don't judge me), The Lion King, Into the Wild, North of the sun.

Music is something extremely important to me and I can appreciate many aspects of it from the technical skills of a guitar solo in a Metal track to the writing of a Pop melody which gets stuck in your head. I especially love anything I can dance to, Funk, Ska, Swing but my most admired genre has to be the world of dance music. Drum & Bass, Techno, House I love anything with a big bassline which I can dance like a fool to.

I tend to favour my fiction to other styles of reading am looking to try and delve into literature which will broaden my mind. I feel you can learn much more from a book than watching any TV item.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At Outlook festival a group of 12 of us hired two boats and sailed around the coast and into the sea. We watched the sunset over the water and drank wine, was my favourite part of the festival.
