Oí galera!

This year I in-line skated from Paris to Spain, sailed across the Atlantic and crossed the Amazon river by ferry. I would now love to get fluent in Portuguese, practice Capoeira and learn Samba (and other dances) and experience Brazilian carnival alongside peeps who have Carnival in their veins, axé Carnaval!
I’ll arrive in Salvador de Bahía on 25 January for about 2 months (:

I always enjoy meeting people who are different from me, because it helps take a step back and see the life from a different point of view, that I’m always eager to understand. I’m adaptable and find it super important to communicate and align on each other’s expectations, and always with tons of respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cultural immersion - experiencing places through the eyes of the people who live them on a daily basis, away from the classic tourism.

In one of my former flatshares we hosted 2 couch surfers and I found it so cool that I’d like to continue the experience.

During Covid, the “work from home” policies allowed me to travel back and work from Paris and I stayed on the couches of many friends. I loved the experience way more than going for a 1-hour coffee with them as usual, because it feels like we shared regular life moments together.
Although I’d love it, I’m not necessarily looking for being hosted by couchsurfers, but would definitely love to join you in a part of your daily life, be it going to an event together, a walk, practice some sport, meeting friends, going out, etc…

Note: I’m not on Couchsurfing to date, I hope we are on the same wavelength :)

Eclectic music tastes (from French rap to electro to cumbia to funk etc), I love reading historic fiction, fantasy and books that put my imagination to work, but recently started reading about society and inner peace.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Deep talks and a good laugh. Share what I’m passionate about and why, practice together the sports I love, give my non-judgmental opinion when asked for, talk about each other’s inner struggles and learn this way. Always fun to cook together.
