Tom was born in Sweden and raised in Denmark and Germany.
Laura is from Lahti, Finland but also spent a year in Saudi Arabia when she was young.
We have a flat in Helsinki and live and work there unless we are travelling!
We are both cooks and outgoing people, honest and love to help out. We don't party as much as used too but still enjoy a drink now and then ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We left for a 10 month trip in January, 2015, and wanted to stay with locals in as many places as possible. Neither of us had any CS experience but luckily people hosted us and stayed with hosts in China, Singapore, Australia and Russia!
Thanks to the generosity of our hosts it has inspired us to host here in Helsinki as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tom:
Tandem skydiving was absolutely amazing, so was cage diving with great white in south australia and also diving in the great barrier reef! And basically every trip I've been on has been awesome.
Finishing the Stockholm marathon in 3:10. Still aiming to get under three hours though!!
