About Me

⦿ Before sending request please read My Home section ⦿

For me the sense of life is to create memories. Memories of the places, stories and most of all the people. Couchsurfing means to me a great way to reach them. The people you meet are not ordinary - they're travelers, leaving all of the bad mood and thoughts hidden somewhere out of sight. Have you ever met a grumpy traveler? ^__^

If you're still reading this and hesitating whether to host me/come to my place/just meet me, all I can say is this: I could write down that I'm openminded, friendly etc., stuff who claims nearly everyone. At the end you always have to test it by your own. However, you should know that number one for me above all is empathy. And so I'm trying to get on well with everyone and avoid any problems if possible.

Number two is to live on 100 % every single day (except lazy-days! :D). Till I'm young it means doing crazy stuff that I'll be thinking about in a sofa when I'll get old :) I'm making a little list here, mainly for me (not leveling-up my ego, you can skip it):

⦿ Was above 5000 m high (Mt. Elbrus)
⦿ Walked 90 kms in one day with hangover (Santiago De Compostela - Finisterre)
⦿ Survived a sandstorm (110 km/h wind)
⦿ Met alone a wolf in the wilderness (Triglav NP)
⦿ Climbed Mt. Doom (with ice + without crampons)
⦿ Held Ebola in my hands (as an airport employee)
⦿ Finished marathon with injured leg
⦿ Hitchhiked across the Europe (9850 kms) and New Zealand (8000 kms)
⦿ Accomplished 3 Eagle Feathers (Scout test of 3 days - mustn't speak, mustn't eat, mustn't be seen)

And most of all did some long distance hikes:

➼ Santiago de Compostela (2014)
➼ Nordkalottleden (2015)
➼ Te Araroa (2016)
➼ G20 (2019)
➼ Lofoten crossing (2021)
➼ Ak-Suu Transverse (2022)

So if you're about to do something mad, count me in and let me know so I can extend my list ;)

Current mission: Prague Star - walk 100kms under 24 hours from all four cardinal directions.
► Pilsen - Prague: ✔
► Tábor - Prague: ✔
► Pardubice - Prague ✘ (reached 75 kms)
► Ústí nad Labem - Prague: 2023
