ABOUT ME

I am a simple man with simple interests. I like a good plate of food, a soft bed to sleep on, and a good book to read in the afternoon. I also talk a lot. I guess it's a professional deformation. I also enjoy going out every once in a while and dancing my legs off. Unless I'm already wearing my comfy pants. Then I'm only good for sleeping.

PHILOSOPHY

I think everyone should just get along. We are all trying to get some sense out of this all. I have my personal set of convictions, which often forces me to question them. I don't think I have all the answers, but damned if I don't try to get at least some of them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I can't really host anyone, I live in a rented apartment and my landlords live right next to me. But I am available for coffee, and I can give advice to fellow travelers, whether about Budapest or about the other places I've visited.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess there isn't just one that tops them all... I have hiked on the Great Wall of China. I made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. I have seen the Pope riding a boat. I have seen Florence covered in snow. I stood on the shores of Iceland and looked over the edge of the world.

I know a lot of history. And I like discussing philosophy, religion, politics and other casual subjects. Also, I do translations from English into Croatian and vice versa.
