CURRENT MISSION

I'm headed to a Zen monastery in Clatskanie, OR, and will be passing through Portland for a day.

ABOUT ME

27 year-old traveler and bike tourer trying to bring peace and love into the world. I believe that peace and love originate from the self and then overflow into the world. This belief is why I'm going to the monastery.

I spent the last year after graduating college riding my bike through South America with my two best friends from college. This experience taught me (amongst many, many other lessons) that if you are open to all people and cultures, great things happen! So now I'm in the business of tearing down barriers rather than putting them up.

I'm a vegetarian, outdoorsy guy who enjoys getting stoked almost as much as he enjoys being thoughtful. I studied biology in college and I've worked as a vegetable gardener, trail worker, and waiter. Chess player, active reader, and Spanish speaker. I love to share what knowledge I have. Cooking for someone is my preferred method of showing appreciation.

You can do anything if you aren't in a hurry. So relax and be happy :)
