Just quit a corporate job after way too long, and I'm catching up on all of the travel I've been postponing for years. Currently on the South Island of NZ to do some hiking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I began couchsurfing on a trip through Austria and Germany, and the Netherlands a few years ago. My first three stays were the highlights of my trip.

I'd like to be more active in hosting, but my living situation makes that tough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is great. A free place to stay can be nice, meeting people I'd otherwise never know is better.

Interests

Cities fascinate me. I can usually spend a couple of days just walking around a new city; I don't even need to go outside. There's so much going on: languages, architecture, fashion, economics, transit... putting lots of people together in small places can create wonderful things.
