About Me

CURRENT MISSION

don't worry, be happy

ABOUT ME

Hi everybody!!! I'm Tommaso, I'm 26 years old and I live in Genoa.
I just came back from a 4 months trip around Australia, couchsurfing as much as I could. Now I'm back in Genoa, working as apprentice lawyer, but I would love to host some travelers.
I lived 1 year in Valencia so I can speak a pretty good spanish as well as english.
I love to travel, I have been more or less in all Europe, USA, South East Asia, China, North Africa, and Australia.
I decided to finish my university and leave, to dive in a new experience on the other side of the world, just to travel, to see new places, to make new experiences, to meet new people and now that I'm back I miss meeting amazing new people, new cultures, new friends and for this reason I want to start hosting CSers to not stop traveling even staying home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used CS for the first time in Australia, and it has been a so amazing experience that now I want to keep traveling with CS and start hosting people at my place.

Interests

I like all kind of sports, specially football, tennis, skiing, snowboarding, waterskiing and wakeboarding.
I love to play guitar.
I live at the seaside but really close to mountains so when I'm not travelling I spend my summer to the seaside going out on my little boat (I have the boating licence), and my winter on the snow snowboarding and skiing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen different kinds of music: rock, ska, reggae and italian music.
I like all kind of movies except horror movies :D
I LOVE firsts Guy Ritchie's movies like "The Snatch", "Lock and Stock" and "Rock&Rolla".
I love to read adventure/trip books while I'm traveling: they transmit me energies and an amazing desire to live new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Walked on the Great Wall in China
- Traveled around China with night-trains
- Worked for ACF (Australian Conservation Foundation), Australian non-profit organisation promoting the protection of australian enviroment
- Skydived in Cairns
- Scuba dived on the Great Barrier Reef
- Lived "Las Fallas" in Valencia
- Scubadived on the Indonesian reef
(work in progress...)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach the lenguages that I know and to play guitar for a beginner.
And, of course, I'm ready to "teach" italian life-style to all travelers that want to, and show our culture.
This is why I love couchsurfing. Have new amazing friends and share experiences with other travelers has never been so easy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think that food could be a great way to know eachother! I nice dinner with new friends showing unknown parts of cultures is a great way to start!
