I am from Italy but I came to US for my Ph.d. I have lived in Nashville and greatly enjoyed it. But I am happy to be in New England now. That's not all about me but it is a starter.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to CS, I have participated in some CS activities in Boston but so far I have not had the chance to host anyone or to be hosted by anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None but looking forward to it.

I am not an excellent cook but I can cook and I would be glad to share some tips from the italian peninsula.

I also always look forward to share some info about my hometown (Florence, Italy) and the surrounding area, in case you want to visit it. I can suggest some of my favorite itineraries.

As to learning, when I travel, I like to get an idea of how people actually live in the area I am visiting so that I am not just a tourist.
