I am a caring person with a corny sense of humor. My family is the most important thing in my life. I like people.

PHILOSOPHY

I am enthralled by the beauty of the world and appalled by how human society treats the planet. I work to fix that by tending my own garden, sharing the fruits, and showing others. I am hopeful that we, meaning humankind, will learn to treat one another with respect, generosity, and, most of all, kindness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started. I hope to surf this time. If I like it, I will do more and perhaps I will start to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am friends with two people who couchsurf. They are both great.

兴趣

I garden, keep bees, and write poetry. I am a pretty good cook, a fairly good baker, and I make awesome homemade ice cream. I watch films, read books, listen to NPR, read a lot of current affairs stuff on the internet, use Facebook, avoid broadcast TV, and once again, listen to NPR a lot. I like museums, pretty much any museum, watching modern dance, theater, and attending a wide variety of concerts.

I have attended Burning Man, twice. It was great but really nothing compared to seeing my son and daughter be born; that was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
