ABOUT ME
Currently working in Lisbon, I am a relaxed person from Finland who is passionate about sports and encountering new people.
The past 15 years I have studied, worked and lived abroad - including Netherlands, UK and France.
Flexible and spontaneous.
I've met the people that most matter to me while traveling, and I think Couchsurfing is a great, simple way to learn more of new people and cultures.
Bonjour !
PHILOSOPHY
Freedom to live your life as you wish and take responsibility for it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The reason for my Couchsurfing is the interest to connect with the local community and its inhabitants and people in general - regardless of background, education or life situation. Also I think it is possibly a more genuine way for interesting tips and informed advice than simply staying in hotels.
Enjoy to widen my views.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have c-surfed three times, and hosted two times. Have joined multiple local meetups in Paris and Lisbon.
Interests
I like sports, hiking, outdoor experiences but can also spend hours reading interesting books. Am curious about different people from different countries. I prefer not to host anybody that can't speak any language I speak (there should be plenty of options to choose :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Very varied repertoire of books and movies - I don't enjoy horror movies, though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I once went to Egypt with a one way ticket only: it was a very liberating experience.
- My worst travel experience: Flying back from Peru to Amsterdam having caught a very nasty food poisoning the night before. As if that wasn't enough, the plane tried to land 3 times before being succesful in very foggy conditions to tank passengers at Caracas Airport. After that I avoided flying for a couple of years...
