Overview
About Me
Hello!
My name is Tommy Bui. I'm 18 years old. I began at an early age and currently a student at the University of West Georgia in the United States, who is studying English on a pre-law track. I was accepted at an early age (16), indicating that I have a higher maturity level and work ethic than most people my age group I'm an eager traveler looking forward to adventure and meeting new people. I am currently a student at the University of West Georgia, who is studying English on a pre-law track.
My love of travelling started at a young age, when my parents made it a goal to go to a new place every summer. My parents taught me that staying in hotels and doing typical tourist things do the soul no good. I can only recall once that I stayed in a hotel while travelling, and that was because my parents were friends with the hotel owner.
I think the most important thing to remember, when travelling, is to keep an open mind and always be willing to get outside your comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to discover a country is to ditch the hotels and tour guides: instead, stick with the people who live there and experience life from the local standpoint. For me, Couchsurfing is the best way to do that!
Interests
In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and piano, singing, reading, photography, and writing. I also enjoy playing and watching sports, such as basketball and football. I enjoy watching movies. But most of all, I love travelling. While most kids back home are relaxing at the pool, I spend most of my summers going to new places around the world. I also enjoy participating in Mock Trial, reaching 2nd in the United States this year.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy rock, rap, electronic, and pretty much anything else that sounds good. I love action movies. Being an English major, I have to love books, so if you've read it, I probably read it too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm backpacking Europe right now!
I have traveled a great amount of Asia, also.
I also have skydived and hosted my own charity concert for a friend with Crohn's disease.

Share:
I want to share the human experience of meeting new people with everyone.
