About Me

I recently graduated and am taking time off from school before jumping back in. Born in Texas and have not really traveled much out of the state. I'm pretty independent but do enjoy joining others for events, cooking, nights out, etc.! Please don't feel as though you have to have a whole itinerary planned out for me or anything like that! I'm pretty self-sufficient and can easily go with the flow and venture on my own.
I love plants and the great outdoors. Trying new foods and cooking are also favorite past times so those are always welcomed!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just an in-between student trying to get the most out of my time before going into grad/med school! I can only really do mini vacations so I hope to get the most out of my stays which is where others get involved. Being able to ask questions and learn about the city and culture from a local is the best way to get the most out my stays!

Outdoor adventures and serendipitous moments are always welcomed! Looking forward to meeting new people, explore, and try new foods!

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative indie music probably my go to but I am really open to anything. Except for country. Nothing against it, but if I had the option to change the station I would.

Thrillers and suspense films are my go to. I'm not a huge movie buff but I do enjoy indie films and don't mind giving some a watch even if they may not be the most enticing initially.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled across the US (over 3,000 miles) starting in Austin, Texas and ending in Anchorage, Alaska to raise money for cancer research and to increase awareness. We were a group of college students who stayed with families and community centers over the course of 70 days. In the end, we raised over $1,000,000 for the fight against cancer.
One of the best experiences of life so far!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure if I have much knowledge to share but maybe I'll discover more of what I have to offer during my travels.

As for learning, I am open to learning the crafts and arts of any trade. Cooking, dancing, creating, etc. all sound amazing and I would be excited to share those experiences with the people impassioned by them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My roommates and I are all very welcoming people and very accommodating. I will most likely be able to offer transporation depending on the time and availability. We love to cook so there will most likely be shared meals and other snacks.
Our living room will probably be where you reside during your stay but we will try our best to provide you with everything you need!
