About Me

Currently cycling from the UK to China I'm raising money for my chosen charity whilst doing this - 'The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity'. I'm doing this expedition also to show how there is kindness throughout the world and that the world isn't as dangerous as the media perceives it. However that's not what the trip is all about as it goes a lot deeper but I'd prefer to share that personally if it comes up :)

I use WarmShowers as well as CouchSurfing so if you want to see some more references pop over to there --> https://www.warmshowers.org/user/102396

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people obviously. For this journey I have and want to meet so many more people, I've found how valuable it's been as I've learnt so much and it's all helping me build as a person. With all these experiences so far I really can't wait to host and have people from all over visit!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wow! Genre specific is incredibly difficult, but favourite artist ever is Jimi Hendrix.

With regards to movies very open to all, always been sceptical on musicals but have started to watch more, all other genres I'm pretty into.

Books, I'm not a huge reader despite trying, purely because I'm a slow reader, but I love adventure books, especially about travel. I also like books on self-development ... particular favourite lately has been 'The Monk who sold his Ferrari'. However with the recent travels I've become a better reader and I am currently reading 'The Idiot' by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Entering Buzludzha in Bulgaria, and old communist headquarters which has been abandoned for years and then climbing to the top of it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would also like to learn about people and myself, so far I think I've been maturing on my travels due to those people I meet who open up my eyes even further, hopefully I can also share my experiences and my own personal philosophy with those who have intrigue.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help out with cooking, cleaning, a lot, if you ask me then there is little I will turn down, I always feel in debt to the host as they don't have to let me stay! On top of that I can share an awesome hug and some stories...
