ABOUT ME

Right where to begin.... well I am in my early 30s and i spent the majority of my 20s travelling and it has defined my life, lead me to meeting my wife and spawned a few business ventures, not to mention a tonne of lifelong friends. This site is the quintessential backpackers site, it embodies the entire reason for travelling, and that is cultural immersion.

I am fascinated with other cultures and whenever possible try to meet/interact with pretty much anyone I can from outside the UK.

However there is only one way to grasp another culture and that is to go there and immerse yourself in their way of life. So here I am on CS!

I have stayed with one couch surfer in Helsinki back in 2010 while going to the Flow Festival. We are still friends.
