Hi! My life has been an interesting journey that began in San Diego and has taken me up and down the Pacific West Coast, and now I am moving to make my permanent home in Florida. I'm in transition from serial renter to forever homeowner. I've also been in a transition from employee to business owner. I have seen some of the world, and met many different types of people along the way. The world is small place, with endless opportunities to explore, beauty to admire, and as I have found, wonderful humans at every stop. I'm a lifelong learner, always up for an adventure, and am happy to embrace new people as extended family.

My beginnings: I was born in San Diego and grew up in the SF Bay Area. I'm the oldest of two sisters and have a younger stepsister and brother.

Currently, I'm planning a trip driving from Northern CA to St. Augustine, FL from 4/21-25. I'm hoping to find a few open doors along the way to make this trip both richer and more affordable. And once I'm established in my new home, it will be my pleasure to become a host.

... A brief eternity ago a roommate of mine actually hosted a few folks through this site while I was in college. I guess I forgot about it after. We had a couple of couches available. There were two dudes from Germany passing through on a year-long trip around the world. Some folks stayed while attending events for the 2008 Track and Field qualifying races for the Olympics (and paid way more than anyone should for a couch, but that was on Craigslist). And my favorites: twin Jewish brothers with red afros who were checking the area out for the first time. Maybe six months later they were back and had opened a waffle food cart! And within a year after that they had a business near the downtown. I remember going in one day and introduced myself as previously hosting them.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

At the end of my senior year of high school, I rode my bike with our bike club from Atherton to San Francisco to eat burritos in the Haight-Ashbury District. It took over four hours and was over 40 miles, and this was the third year I'd done this trek with the club. This was going to be my last one. After we ate and on the way down the hill toward the train station to head back, I was inspired to leave the group and head out on my own to make the ride all the way back home in Menlo Park. I got into Redwood City a bit after 11pm that night, deciding to finally stop at the train station when I felt like I was going to fall off my bike I was so tired. I called my frantic mother to come pick me up, and got safely home.

I treat any home I'm in as my own. I'm very clean, quiet, respectful, pack light, and happy to help while I'm there to show my appreciation for the hospitality, and also just be a good human. I'm also very comfortable around all ages, young and old, and animals! And I'm happy to stay out of your way or enjoy your company. Depends on my plans and yours. I thank you, sincerely, for helping me along my journey, and I'm happy to enrich yours a little for a moment!
