Hi! My name is Tomoki. I'm originally from Japan but I left home at the age of 14 to study abroad in New Zealand (my second home). But, after 3.5 years, I moved to New York to finish high school. Now, I am studying Business at University of Washington in Seattle.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Throughout my high school life, I stayed in homestays where I lived as a part of local families who became my second, third, fourth... family. I know from this experience that the best way to get to know a country is to live with the people from that country. I love meeting people from different countries and learn about their cultures, languages, and more!

Intereses

FOOD! Yes, I think that's my biggest interest. I love trying out new food regardless of whether or not I think I would like it. Also, I love wine!
Besides eating, I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and talking with them.
I usually don't plan out my trips so that I can wander around and hopefully encounter something amazing! I'm not a big on sports but I enjoy walking, biking, and skiing.
I also love dogs (especially corgis and huskies)!
