Travelling is my favourite thing, although that's hardly surprising to read considering that this is Couchsurfing.. I started with an exchange in Thailand in 2005 and never want to stop. My last trip was to India, Iran, Turkey, Israel and Palestine, which was all amazing.
I've recently moved to London to teach and plan to get involved with the CS community here, even though my room is too small to host anyone :(
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's one of the greatest websites ever. Think of the friendships and great experiences wouldn't exist without it.. I've surfed on a few couches and hosted some people with my friend, and it's always been positive. Hosting is a little like travelling without leaving your city, and seeing it in a different way through the eyes of the people you're showing around. Plus you tend to learn a lot from them, so it benefits everyone, not just the person getting a place to stay.
I like a variety of sports - football, cricket, indoor beach volleyball, bodyboarding, going to the gym, and I ran a half marathon once that almost killed me. Also more relaxing things like reading, watching movies, good wine and being addicted to TV series. And planning trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was lucky enough to get into the old American embassy in Tehran, where the events from 'Argo' happened. Things had been left as they were since 1979. Possibly the coolest thing I've seen while travelling.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an English teacher so I can help out with that, and anything you'd like to know about Australia.
I'd love to learn some of the language of the places I go and people I host, so if you love language that would be a great thing to exchange. Also the history, politics, anything interesting about your country, I want to know it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help with English if you have any questions, and I'm very happy to cook something for you :)
Countries I’ve Lived In
