CURRENT MISSION

In order to adequately teach students in English back home we need to be able to paint our picture of the US ourselves and thus we want to be part of your culture as intensively as possible.

ABOUT ME

We (Tom and Ronny) are University buddies both with the same education. We met at University and are friends since then. We decided to travel the US for a couple of month to get a better understanding of what we will actually be teaching in a German school. It's not just the places and sights that are valuable but also, and most importantly, the interaction with the people who live in the States that will make our journey worthwhile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We must admit that staying on somebody's couch is way cheaper than staying at a hotel. This, however, is not the only benefit from it. It is also about meeting new people and diving deeper into the foreign culture; features that a hotel room usually lacks.

Interests

We are interested in teaching kids more about the world they live in! If you want your stories and life lessons to be taught as well, just tell them to us while we are with you!

Music, Movies, and Books

We do like various kinds of music. Put some electronic tunes on our ears, we will like it. Turn up the music for good rock. Old Jazz makes us endulge ourselves. Or just put on a pop radio station and we are fine.
Action movie, drama, comedy or science fiction, doesn't matter to us as long as it is a decent movie that entertains us or has something important to tell.
It seems that nowadays it is hard to sit down and actually read a book. Well, it is not, just take the time and you will definitely enjoy a good read. The Lord of the Rings definitely is a good series of books. However, there are so many good books out there, it is hard to pin down one particular favorite exemplar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel a foreign country with a good friend of yours for 3 month. (in process)
