ABOUT ME

I'm quite a hardworking person - trying to get my degree at Oxford at the moment! But in my spare time, I like to be adventurous. There's a whole world out there full of cool things and interesting people that I want to see before I have to get a job and do all those things that grown-ups are supposed to do... I'm quite creative too; I like to cook and make things, nothing in particular, just whatever takes my fancy at the time. If it sounds fun, then I'm up for it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to start my couch surfing experience by meeting the people of the world. So my first mission is to go out and surf some couches. After that (when I have my own place), I want to be a couch surfing host so that the people of the world can come to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I love playing Irish folk music - I play flute and whistle mainly. I like to cycle, play squash and also underwater hockey (if you don't know what that is, you'll have to ask me).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read sci-fi and fantasy novels. My favourite books are the Abhorsen trilogy. I also like 'A song of Ice and Fire' and Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.

My main musical love is Irish traditional music but I also listen to drum and bass and electronic music too.

I like all kinds of movie: Miyazaki, Kill Bill, Monty Python, Cloverfield etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing on stage at the Lorient Interceltique festival in front of 2000 people. When we finished our set and they all started to cheer and applaud - that was pretty awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the tin whistle so I could teach you how to play that! My degree is quite physics-y so if you want to know more about how the world works then I might know the answer (that is if you don't fall asleep :P ).
