ABOUT ME

A 22-year old student living in Central Finland. Open to new experiences and meeting new people. Everything is negotiable.
Moved to Finland from Russia at the age of 10.I moved to a town of Jyvaskyla to study in the local University in 2007 and began studying russian language and culture but besides that I have studied accounting.
I am a very out-going and social guy and enjoy other people's company and almost any kind of activity. My main hobbies are related to music and sports. I play drums and guitar and like playing soccer, ice-hockey and visiting the gym regularly.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a perfectionist, that is not my philosophy but it reflects the way I do things. If I have an interest in something, I want to learn it thoroughly.
I am a thoughtful human being, I enjoy following the wolrd around me and I care about it. Though I am not happy with the state of the current world and most of the time see it pessimistically, I am not an angry activist. Some things cab't be changed but too much worrying will make it even worse.
My attitude is fair and I don't like to make promises I can't keep. Things I can't stand are greed, lying and lack of responsibility.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't travelled outside Finland that much. That is basically the reason I joined in the first place. I am young and I have a great interest in other cultures. The only way to satisfy that interest is to travel.

Interests

Music, sports, cultural activities (concerts, exhibitions), movies, wolrd itself and the people in it.
I have played drums for a long time and I enjoy playing guitar too. My musical taste is vast and diverse, though I enjoy heavy metal the most.
I am a movie freak too, I have watched many movies in my life and I keep on doing it today. My taste here is again very diverse.

Music, Movies, and Books

Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Hip-Hop, Flamenco and so on. Some of my favorite bands are: Disturbed, God Forbid, Slipknot, In Flames, Alter Bridge.
Movies: Anything with Jason Statham, Falling Down, Sin City, Little Miss Sunshine, Notebook, Love Actually, Up!, Wall-E and so on.
Books: Russian classics, like Crime and Punishment or Pushkin's poems.
