Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New to couch surfing. Typically a hotel guy but finding myself on more one off, one night trips to destinations. Hotels get to be a little expensive not to mention impersonal. Trying out couch surfing to save a couple bucks, but also to make my little excursions a little more memorable and meaningful by giving myself the opportunity to meet new people with interesting backgrounds and insights into the cities I visit.
