About Me

Recently finished my medical degree in Detroit. Taking some time to visit places.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in mid-west USA. I've been in school for a long time, but I always take time to see the world. Traveling has connected me to people all over the world. I'm grateful for these experiences which continuously reinforce understanding and acceptance.

Look out world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a couch surfer for many years now. I've also hosted travelers through couchsurfing at my apartment in Detroit. My favorite couchsurfing experience was when I hosted a friend from Pereira, Colombia. I really enjoyed that I could connect him to this great community in Detroit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed the couches of friends in Buenos Aires and Detroit and throughout Colombia. I really enjoyed these experiences and found that the best way to truly experience a place is with the help of a local.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music, movies, books, and art that tap into the surreal experience. Psychedelic art and music show that the everyday life is not 100% normal. I like that feeling. I like images and sounds that make me step back and say, "Whoa!"

Currently:
Reading - A $500 House in Detroit, One flew over the cuckoos nest
Listening - Bitches Brew, 1970s Dancehall, Zappa

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling and studying in Argentina was a really cool experience. I had the chance to meet a lot of amazing people and see many beautiful places.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm most interested in language exchanges. I can help with English, and I'd like to practice Spanish. I'm also interested in learning Portuguese. I can share home cooked meals and stories about my travels
