About Me
I had asked a friend- how would you describe me? Her response was: Here is Toni with a lipstick for everyday of the week, who can sense the perfect lighting for a photo op and fights oil/gas operations to preserve Chaco Canyon from fracking . A master at hiding a bottle of wine in her purse to catch a chick flick at our local movie theater. A kind soul who is always up for a spur of the moment adventure.
I’d say that was a great response. I am full blooded Navajo. I have lived my whole life in the Southwest. Indigenous culture and tradition is important to me. I try to give back to my community and my people. I’m very active in environmental and social issues affecting my community. I do X-rays and CT Scans. In my work, I make it my mission to interlace native culture in the work that I do.
There is so much I want to do and see. I’m excited to meet people and have new experiences. I love music and so it is common for me to seek local bands / venues. I’m not much of a cook, but, I love trying new foods and recipes.
