ABOUT ME

We're a couple who love being with our friends and making new ones. Currently settled in the one spot, in a gorgeous part of our state, Hobart, working and saving up for holidays around the place. We lived overseas in London for a while on a working holiday, and loved it. We always try and squeeze in a snowboarding trip every year, and as a rule always go somewhere different for our birthdays. I reckon we are an easygoing and happy couple, loving life and trying to get the most out of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is all a bit new to us, excited to meet new people and fellow travellers. Some of the best friends we have made have been through travelling. Sharing a common thread can make you feel as if you have known someone for so much longer than you actually have. Will do our bit at hosting for this year before taking off again travelling, where we will give surfing a go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Huayna Picchu and waiting longer than anyone else up there to see the clouds and fog lift and reveal the beauty of Machu Picchu.

Being the only people on a gorgeous beach on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia, in the peak of summer too.

Always wanted to learn French and more about macro photography. There must be things I could help people with but unsure of what they are right now...
