ABOUT ME

I have been plagued/blessed with wanderlust, and it has taken me some amazing places... but as I'm sure you're familiar, leads to that terrible discontent when stuck in one place for too long. I did the university thing for a while and got my B.A. but have been taking a cool couple years off to enjoy life. I enjoy really getting to know a place I visit and not just the tourist traps. I also enjoy watching a good film, reading a good book, or discovering a great new band, so recommendations are always welcome.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have a philosophy per say... I'm just trying to have a good time.

Interests

Traveling (of course), music, literature, film. Playing out in the sun, making memories with good friends... and my newest passion is PHOTOGRAPHY. Not very experienced yet but I am trying to learn all I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I've had so far was sleeping in the middle of the Sahara Desert. There's no place like it that I've ever been before. So tranquil, indescribably beautiful, and the most amazing view of the stars I can ever imagine. BUT there are so many others, NYE on the beach in Mozambique, working with crocs and cheetahs in South Africa...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have experience teaching English so there's always that. I also speak pretty good Spanish from living there for a year. I have never heard any complaints about my cooking, and of course I'm always willing to share any travel tips or tricks from anywhere I've visited!
