Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I occasionally need a place to sleep and wash laundry. =) I also appreciate good company and local knowledge, and I suppose this is how i get it. I have heard a ton of good things about Couch Surfing community - time to check if those talks are true. (Edit: they were true, all of them!)

I'm not too big a consumer of popular culture, but I've always loved Monty Python's quest for holy grail and Bladerunner (movies), Dragonlance-series and Harry Potters (books), and I like Funk/soul/rock/metal/90's/80's/70's music. Not yet a fan of rap/hiphop music, but I'm getting there...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a Karaoke broadcast at Radio Säteily, local student radio in Rovaniemi! As far as I know, this is the first live karaoke broadcast made, ever. Had a retrogame-music broadcast in the same channel, by the way.

I know the basics of guitar playing, and I'd love to learn more. Talking and learning about people is a must too. If you have any interesting skills, I'd like to learn from you; cooking for example.
