Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All things Hip-Hop; Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Immortal Technique, and other resistance artists; I have an incredibly eclectic taste in music and it plays an important role in connecting me to the world around me. So, I listen to all genres, from jazz and classical Americana to world music.
Movies: Also a huge fan of cinema, gravitating to storytellers like Wes Anderson, Coen Brothers, Kurosawa, and Sergio Leone.
Books: Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics changed my life; The Nature and Destiny of Man; Man, Society and Freedom.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm a normal dude who’s done abnormal things. I’ve seen and done alot but I don’t rate or rank my experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learn something new from everyone I meet....the world is my classroom. I’m fascinated by culture and the people who construct it, so I studied anthropology and political science/theory to understand it all better.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good stories, contemplative conversations, genuine curiosity, open mindedness, and a willingness to share my insight, opinions, and reflections on culture and the rituals/customs that make us more similar than different.
