Overview
About Me
I work for a computer chip making company near Minneapolis. Father of 2 college-age sons. Divorced amicably. Single. More interested in dating guys now ("late bloomer") but glad to meet anyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had good experiences with airbnb in other cities, and have thought about becoming a host myself with my spare bedrooms, but couchsurfing sounds like another cool option for a less formal, more personal experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Broadway musicals or comedic music (Weird Al) make up most of my CD collection.
I mostly read nonfiction, right now a book about traffic and why humans drive the way we do.
I enjoy most comedies, drama, and adventure movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had two wonderful sons, but they are pretty independent now. I lived in Portland, Oregon for three years and explored lots of cool places out there. Coming out and meeting all kinds of cool new dating opportunities has been a highlight of my life, although that certainly didn't make it perfect. I can't narrow down to just one thing. I get excited visiting a cool destination like skiing on Mt. Hood, or being in the cast of shows like Avenue Q or Little Shop of Horrors, but also get excited about a well-planned and well-executed home repair project.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn more about the history of other parts of the country and the world. Every place and person has something to teach us.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Home repair assistance, inside or outside. A love of the outdoors. I'm quiet at first, but will talk nonstop if you would like. I can also provide a sympathetic ear.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahamas, Canada, England, Mexico
