Hey! I'm Tony and I'm currently road tripping with my friend Alison across Canada and the United States. We've both recently finished our undergrads so now it's time to go traveling and discover what the world has to offer!

I enjoy meeting new people and learning and understanding different cultures. If you asked me to try something, I'd likely take you up on it. I enjoy trying new cuisines and new experiences. For example, I've taken a burlesque class!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My roommate regularly hosts couch surfers and I've discovered it's something that I want to try! I've enjoyed getting to know and learning about our couch surfers.

When I couch surf, I look forward to getting to know local people and the local culture.

Interests

I love animals, especially dogs. I think I smother my roommate's dog too much.

I practice hot yoga about once a week, I love the relaxing feeling after a nice hot yoga session.

I've taken woodworking classes in middle school and high school and loved it. I currently don't have the means to do woodworking right now but would like to turn it into a serious hobby one day.

I'm a recent graduate in electrical engineering so I have a keen interest in all things technology. I've also taught kids how to do software programming.

I've rediscovered theatre and enjoy attending Ottawa's local Fringe festival.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I have earbuds on, I'm usually listening to EDM (tropical house, NuDisco, indie). If I'm at a live show, I'll enjoy any kind of music. One of my favourite artist's is Glen Hansard.

A book I've recently enjoyed is East of Eden.

Some of my favourite movies: Once, Pixar movies, La La Land, Brokeback Mountain, Interstellar.
