ABOUT ME

We are an international/interracial married couple with two young twin boys. Tony is a college biology teacher. Berna is trained as a nurse, but currently working as a CNA in a local nursing home. We live in a rural area in the extreme southern part of the state of Illinois.

All things Nature related. We both love to travel, but our focus is generally the outdoors rather than cities. We both play around with nature photography (although we're FAR from professionals). Tony is especially interested in Reptiles and Amphibians.

Tony's favorite author is Barbara Kingsolver. He prefers music usually classified as "Folk" or "World".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Berna- The abundance of wildlife in southern Illinois (compared to the Philippines), Carslbad Caverns and White Sands in New Mexico.
Tony- Uluru in Australia, Komodo Dragons on Rincia and a 23 foot Saltwater crocodile in Bitarkunika, India.
