CURRENT MISSION

I have been hosting for about 3 years and love getting to know travellers on there way through. If you think a few beers with a local sounds good than send a request. :)
but if you only want a bed for the night, stay in a hostel. Don't be afraid to send a last minute request. I find the most relaxed and some of my most enjoyable guests are the ones that send a request late in the day for that night.

ABOUT ME

I was lucky enough to grow up on a dairy farm. Looking back it was a great upbringing. I have done some traveling both overseas and around Australia but now I have my own small electrical business. My wings have been temporarily clipped. For now spending time with you and sharing stories is my connection to the world.

Also, I would love to have someone stay here for a longer period. My electrical business is going great!! But this leaves me very little time to cook, clean and garden. So I guess I'd love someone to stay here for free that would be willing to do those things for me. Sort of like an au pair but without kids. Any meal you make at home I'd pay for. If you wanted to earn money there's a lot of opportunities to find bar work etc here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing is great! I really enjoy hearing the story's of the travelers as you pass through.

When traveling couch surfing gives the opportunity to meet and interact with local people that would otherwise be very difficult. Couch surfing is amazing!!!

I've had a lot more experience in couch surfing as a host. My only experience with surfing was in Brazil and I was treated extremely well. The generosity of the Brazilian people blew my mind. So if you're from South America your request will almost definitely be accepted. :)
