Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Enjoy visiting anything of interest in the locality. Happy to host visitors to my area which is NOT London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed in 6 places in Israel Nov/Dec 2012, all very good. Resurfed in Jerusalem in 2013 - good friend there now.
Surfed in 5 locations in the UK, 11 locations in Australia, and one location in Qatar.
Surfed in Edinburgh, Orkney islands and Shetland islands.
Surfed 3 locations in Sweden, 2 locations in Norway, one location in Denmark, 2016.
Surfed in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Netherlands.
I have hosted CS surfers, mostly one or two nights.
One night surf in Gozo (Malta) good host.
Met a CS member in Malta who showed me around the area.
Various surfs in Scandinavia, Baltic states, Poland, Netherlands.
Meet up in Dubai.
Did tour of Balkans in 2019 , the last before Covid lockdowns.

2 Month trip to New Zealand, 1 month in Malaysia, coming home to find my house devastated by a burst pipe. One month exploring Israel / West Bank / Jordan. 3 months in Australia.
