I'm an avid traveler who likes nothing more than to embrace new cultures and thrive of the learning experiences it brings. I like to live and work in new countries I visit to fully understand my new surroundings and that is what I want to do in Madrid.
I have just returned home to the UK from two years in South Korea and 5 months in Nepal which was full of learning opportunities, beautiful connections and plenty of healthy living and socialising (English teaching too). I would love to continue this mix of life of fun, health and learning in Espanol. My Spanish is pretty weak but I am learning and want to study it a lot more in Madrid.
I'm quite laid back, clean and open to new opportunities at every turn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm moving to Madrid in September to begin a new job teaching English and begin my journey to becoming fluent in Spanish! I hope! This won't happen if I roam around this beautiful city in solitude. Therefore, while I wait for my job to begin and look for an apartment I'd like to create new friendships, connections and language exchange opportunities in Madrid. Not only will this prove beneficial to my Spanish but help me build up a good foundation of new relationships in my new home town! :)
