ABOUT ME

Hey there! I'm a friendly New Zealander living my dream to travel abroad and experience the beautiful nature and cultures this world has to offer.

I started my travels with a year in Canada and the experience was incredible! I met so many amazing people, and I myself grew as a person more than I would have thought through this experience. From the first moment of landing in that foreign country I was hooked on travelling and I've continued my journey into Europe.

I'm currently in Austria and I'm loving this country and it's people, and want to see everything that is on offer while I'm here.
I love to find the lesser known spots that locals can point you towards, as well as the must see locations that everyone knows.

Since travelling I have taken on a habit of not really planning out where or when I'll end up anywhere. I just go where the wind takes me. It hasn't failed me yet and I've ended up places and doing things that I never would have because of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I have only just discovered Couchsurfing and I'm loving it. I still have a lot of my own travel to get through yet but when I settle down somewhere I hope to return the favour and host as much as I can. I never want to stop meeting people with different perspectives from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had nothing but positive experiences on Couchsurfing so far. The people I met have been very welcoming and amazing, and my travels have been greater for the experience.

I'm a huge fan of the outdoors - Snowboarding, Hiking, Photography, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Bon Fires, Social Netball, Reading, Music and Concerts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me personally, I quit my career job and sold everything that I own down to a suitcase and backpack, and bought a one way ticket with no plan of what I was doing when I got there. This was the scariest and best decision of my life!
