ABOUT ME

I'm in my mid 20's. Originally from Nicaragua, raised in Miami, living in Paradise aka Key West. I've been dying to travel for years now but have only recently started making serious plans to do so. Meeting people and sharing a day in their lives is my reason to travel. I believe wholeheartedly that most people are generous, caring and all around friendly. Many just need to see the same in you to open up. To all who read this message, I thank you and genuinely hope to meet you soon. Love and Respect always!

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind, be empathetic, be Happy. I wish to be the best person I can be, and hope to make a positve effect on all those I meet. I wish to LOVE and Learn and Travel. I'm fighting a constant war between what I want and what I need. Sometimes I'm not exactlly sure what falls in to what category. Slowly, it all becomes a but clearer every passing day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not opposed to hosting a few travelers in my Key West Apartment. It's not the largest or nicest, but it's home. I'm also constantly mentioning couchsurfing to my friends and family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couch surfing and hope for a positive experience. I can't wait to meet people from around the world and different perspectives and hopefully enjoy a night out with future friends.

Interests

I LOVE the RHCP! My first tatoo was inspired by their music. I enjoy jogging kayaking, and playing basketball. I love new faces and truly getting to know new people and making a connection. I also love watching movies and every now and again enjoying a little bud or good Rum to some Stan Getz. I'm a HUGE beach bum! If there's one thing I love about Miami it's the beaches! I know of a few nice less travelled ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have died and come back to life. I immigrated to the U.S. whe I was 4 years old. We were crossing a deep river and my mother lost her grip of me. I remember seeing my curly hair floating above the water and was later told that I was rescued from the river.I've always figured that it must have been an out of body experience or something. My mother said my heart had stopped beating and only after repeated attempts was I revived. That is one of the few things I remember from that trip.
