关于我
CURRENT MISSION
Correct time disorder in one of the parallel universes caused by the universal government's time machine that went wrong last month
ABOUT ME
I am just another ordinary person, to begin with. But I am special in my own way just as you are.
Most of the time I am calm and logical, trying to rationalize everything before making decisions, under the influence of Sherlock Holmes, my only and forever idol. But I can be extremely impulsive and emotional like suddenly deciding to go traveling alone and took a flight to Shanghai the next day etc...
PHILOSOPHY
My ultimate goal is to achieve self-satisfaction without doing any harm to others. So for me, life is about doing what I really like. I don't want to care about popular opinions or materialism or what. I just want to do what I really want to do... Fame and wealth simply do not interest me. And my life dream is to travel around the world.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I've had "permanent" addresses - fifteen years at parents' home in China, four years at boarding school in Singapore - but the durations of stay tell nothing about the durations of living.
To me, living is a stimulation of feeling; so I move, constantly, for fresh excitements. To youth hostels, capsule inns, squalid rooms at city corners. To trains, strangers' couches, the back seat of a Sonata. To places overflown with people, places almost unlivable, places of unknown. To meet strangers, and a strange world. I stay, I feel, and I move, to see more of this world - surreal, colorful, wonderful.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Often, I wonder if I could one day build a house with wooden planks, high up on the hill, or near the sea, or in a forest, far away from people; then raise a hoard of llamas, together with a garden I cultivate. Then my mind just wanders away, delving deeper and deeper: what I am going to have inside my house (canvas and paint in one room; pen, paper, and books of mathematical problems in another); how I am going to be financially sound (sell my organic vegetables); where I am going to find the place (a third-tier city in China); and on and on.
Sometimes I fabricate stories about complete strangers: “That woman in business suit and black high-heels is walking briskly with a tense look. Where is she going? What will she be doing? Is she going on a secret mission, bringing a pistol in leather handbag, walking towards a five-star hotel to kill some sinful man?” Whenever I tell my friends about all these random thoughts, they laugh and say what funny daydreams I have. I would laugh with them, and say, right.
What they never know, though, is that I am always serious. Wouldn’t it be more fun to go for all the new possibilities that life is capable of giving? Even when it means more risks and uncertainties, that’s life, isn't it! I once wrote a blog entry called "a hundred kinds of life I’d like to try", in which I collected all sorts of different jobs and lives worth experiencing. I don’t know which ones would work for me, but first, I’d like to try them all.
