ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say that I have a sense of humour and don´t take life too seriously. They have described me as unconventional and are amazed by my current life style choice. Sometimes I am quiet and like time alone, but yet I love to meet people from different countries and cultures. They are enjoying reading my e mails about the mishaps I have been getting into while travelling.

Intereses

Between Jan 2012 and June 2013 I was travelling, mostly in South America. I initially took a year off work to travel but decided not to return to my job. The world is a huge place and I don´t belive in just staying in my own little corner of it. I sold my home and car and gave away all my possessions to travel. In Cape Town, I studied to teach English as a second language. I have had Spanish lessons on and off but learnt most of it "on the road" (it's not good). I returned to England for 8 months, but don't have a home or job there anymore. I decided to take off again and have been in Mexico since February 2014. I was in Merida for over 2 years and have recently moved to Toluca.

The kindness of strangers to a lone traveller.
Views in the Peak District, near my home town.
A howler monkey staring at me in Tikal and the sloths in Costa Rica.
Galapagos and sharing a beach with sealions.
